It takes a while to catch our breath after the holiday season, which...face it...starts right after Halloween really.  That's two months of hectic, but a whole lot of happy.  The first month of 2012 is a busy one for the PTA Board, as we submit our amended bylaws to the state PTA powers that be - please be sure you review them and attend our special January 26 7pm meeting to adopt them.  read more ...

At the November 15th PTA meeting (and in the days leading up to it), several great people signed up to keep the Stenwood spirit alive through programming and events.  The Stenwood Dine Outs will continue this year (thanks, Michelle). We have someone to take over the Ice Cream Social after next year (thanks, Jenny). The Flip Flop Hop is saved, and will be held again at the end of the school year (thanks Katie and Isabella). And new parents will still be welcomed warmly each year (thanks, Naina). If YOU want to help out, trust us...we have plenty of room for more volunteers! 

October is here, and the weather is wacky as usual.  A full month of school is behind us, and our fall activities are starting - Chess Club, FLEX foreign language, GRACE arts, and our Pizza/Movie night is teaming up with the Holiday Expo for a night of food, movies, and shopping.  Come on out and get to know your kids' friends, and maybe even make a few of your own. read more ...
